Biography
I was born in Costa Rica in 1982, and was blessed to grow up in a Christian home and church where my parents had been pastors since before my birth. For part of my early childhood I lived in Spain, where my parents were serving as missionaries.
I came to a personal knowledge of Christ 6 years ago, when I was confronted with some very difficult situations in my life. Christ's love and mercy became very personal to me at that time.
My university education has been in the area of communications with an emphasis on public relations, with the majority of my work experience being in publicity. For the past three years, I have worked full time in the church my father pastors, La Viña del Este (The Vineyard of the East), in San Jose, Costa Rica. I work in youth ministry as well as planning, communications, and publicity for the church.
My ministerial work combines my university studies with the gifts God has been pleased to give me. Specifically, I am the church's coordinator of communications (planning, public relations and publicity) in addition to working with high school students and young adults in the youth ministry and in their respective house groups. The combination of learning and helping on the organizational level in the church along with ministerial involvement has been a great experience for me as I learn to maintain a balance between the two areas. I firmly believe that I have been called into a pastoral role at some time in the future, but I am equally convinced that I should continue to serve now by putting to use the professional knowledge with which He has blessed me for the growth of the Kingdom of God.
