I grew up in a home full of love for God, but with little opportunity to learn much about Him.  This was because there were few workers, and those few were laymen.  When I was 12 years old, I decided I wanted to be baptized in the church, the one that I thought was the only church.  Through the encouragement of my brother-in-law, at the age of twenty I enrolled in a theological studies program which awakened within me a spiritual hunger to know more and more of Jesus.

After I graduated, I went to work in a Christian school.  Later, I became involved in opening a church where the students and their parents came and were baptized.  The pastoral ministry required full-time work, and to prepare better, I attended every course I could until a missionary sister told me I should study more formally.  The challenge was that I didn't have much time or money.  But, God opened the doors to a seminary where I graduated.  I have been a pastor now for 20 years, and now I am working at the master's level in ProMETA/LATN, because the better prepared I am, the better I can serve.

Ministry

At the moment, I am co-pastor a congregation of nearly 200 people, with the help of a small team of 6 other leaders.  My area of responsibility where I am challenged is in teaching.  I am in charge of the Bible studies, counseling young couples in the church, and I preach once a month.  The other part of my time, I am teaching in a seminary in my city, where I have taught for 6 years.
