Biography
I was born 29 years ago and grew up in a Roman Catholic family with my parents, an older brother and a younger sister. I've been married three and a half years to my wife, Lorena Gómez, and we have two small children, Santiago, 2, and Jazmín, born in May 2009. God has blessed me greatly both with my birth family and now with my wife and children.
When I was 5 years old, my mother accepted Christ as her Savior and began to take me to church, but it was not until I was 17 that I made a decision to receive Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I became very aware of my lost state, and with anguish of spirit I bowed down to the Lord and asked him to save me and change my life. I celebrate the victories in my life, but am aware that I still have faults. I desire to be more and more conformed to the image of Christ. For this reason, I spend each day in the "workshop of the potter." The Lord has loved me and helped me so much that my only desire is to live for Him.
My ministry consists of being the pastor of Grace Bible Church (Iglesia Bíblica de Gracia), discipling, preaching and counseling. I am in charge of a ministry to adolescents and cell groups. I also am on the council of our denomination.
As for the future, I want to continue studying theology, serving the Lord, and hope to eventually translate the Bible into a new language.
