Christian Leadership Program

The Christian Leadership program seeks to develop students into effective servant leaders with a broad knowledge of leadership theory and practice, a deep understanding of biblical principles on leadership, and skills in analyzing leadership as it is exercised in their own countries and organizations.  This program requires 60 semester hours of credit.  Courses are taken in three 15 week semesters annually.  Students study in classes of 6 to 16 students, in which they have intense interaction with one another and the professor.  A thesis is optional.

Upon completion of the biblical theology track, students will demonstrate:

  • Broad understanding of biblical leadership.
  • Competence in building community, creating and casting vision, directing organizations, and bringing about institutional change.
  • Expertise in analyzing the cultural and religious dynamics of the organizations and societies in which one works.
  • Effectiveness in teaching and mentoring leaders and educators.
  • Capacity for sound theological reflection, and applying it effectively.
  • Ability to communicate the gospel effectively in a given context, disciple believers, and plant or develop Christian churches.
  • Skill in both interpersonal communication and conflict resolution.

LATN also cultivates in the students a genuine spirituality, an ethic founded in Christian love, a servant’s attitude and a heart for missions.
