CarlosD.png Biography

During the times of crisis and difficulties in my life during my youth, I heard the gospel during a wedding from missionaries who were in Uruguay.  It had the effect of transforming my life.  Not only did I experience the love and forgiveness of God, but it became clear to me in that very moment that God was calling me to serve Him full-time one day.  So, I studied at the University for a degree in international relations and then studied in the Bible Institute so that I could later serve as a pastor.

I am a co-founder and director of the Colegio Bíblico Online (Online Bible College), an organization that takes advantage of the internet to provide quality Bible resources for the ministry worldwide.  In addition, I am part of a team of international professors of the Haggai Institute which is based in Maui, Hawaii and in Singapore.

My wife, Caren, and I have three children, Melisa, Matías and Pablo.

Ministry

My principal ministry is as one of the pastors of a local church (Pocitos) in a residential area of Montevideo, Uruguay.  We are part of a ministry of CENFOL (Centers of Formation and Christian Leadership) with churches in many countries of Latin America.  In addition, I am an administrator of the Online Bible College.  Here we offer the possibility that pastors and Christians with few resources can have a free Bible course to help make their ministry more effective.  At the same time, I am occasionally invited by the Haggai Institute to give conferences on leadership as part of an intensive training in effective ministry, leadership and evangelism.
