Alexander C.
Biography
I am Alexander Cabezas, a Costa Rican married to Libia Mijares of Venezuela.
As a child, I had the opportunity to receive my first Biblical instruction from my mother. Nevertheless, my personal decision to follow the Lord came when I was 24 years old. I studied in ESEPA Seminary in San José, Costa Rica, where I completed my bachelor's degree.
I practice my calling through a worldwide ministry called Viva. Viva develops projects to help children at risk in various countries of Latin America. I am in charge of clergy relations and am a member of the mobilization team.
We have seen that many times the church does not give priority to work with children, and much less with children at risk. Therefore, my work consists of seeking means to make the church more aware of the children's needs and the ministry the church can develop to assist them. Basically, my service is to give support and aid to those leaders who have become connected with our organization. Additionally, I am in charge of writing materials and other tools to help leaders develop a more comprehensive approach to children's ministry.
